If you're ever in Alice, TX, do yourself a favor and stop by the Texas Brick Oven. Don't let this little hidden treasure fool you, the flavors there pack a punch. The Buffalo Wings are amazing and the pizza is incredible. This place is clean and Lupe gives his customers good ole fashion South Texas hospitality. You won't be disappointed!
Overall good experience definitely recommend the pizza and wings since that's what I tried also love how friendly they were and how accommodating they were as well and do gotta say when you are getting the wings you and mix the sauces I got their signature hot sauce mix with lemon pepper and the Texas ranch sauce and over really good also with drinks once you get the fountain drink you can get any of their opinions and water is free if you want just water
My favorite pizza place. I drive from Corpus specifically for the great food. Pizza is balanced, wings are meaty and not greasy. Everything is good.
Cool Place from the ambience to the super friendly staff But what really matter is the food and Texas Brick Oven definitely did not disappoint. I used to live in CT right some by the best pizza places in the United States if not the world, I've been to Rome 3 times and ate pizza there about 50 times so to say my pizza standards are high would be an understatement. But the pizza we got here really was incredible. By far the best I have had in Texas. Quality dough, cheese and ingredients cooked to perfection. Me and my wife split an Extra Large Holy Cow which was old style pepperoni to die for. Ground beef seasonable incredibly, mushrooms , and possible one more ingredient I am forgetting. Anyways it all came together beautifully. Pizza is all about balance. Too much sauce, cheese or an ingredient and it just doesn't do it for me. Texas Brick Oven Knocked it out the park, quality, price, service all Top Notch. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys you all rock CT Pizza Guy Certified
Very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. As a 1st time visitor the introduction we recieved from the young lady was very informative. Made me feel welcomed.
What can I say about Texas Brick Oven other than the food was amazing! We created our own pizza and it came out to perfection with the perfect amount of pepperoni and ham. We also had the cheese bread and wings and both of those items were delicious. The bread was extra cheesy and the wings had a nice crust and were steaming hot when they came out. The atmosphere was great and the staff was wonderful and friendly. The one thing I will say, and this is my opinion, but this pizza is way better than Grimaldi's Pizza or any other brick oven pizza I've ever had. I cant wait to go back for more!
Very delicious pizza. The pizza had a nice crisp crust, and flavors were really good. I like the pizza and wing lunch special they have. The wings were cooked to perfection as they had a crispy skin and moist in the inside, plus the flavor was bursting with every bite. Waitress was very attentive and helpful since it was my first time. Prices are good and extra parking across the street. Can't wait to come back!!
This was the perfect spot to stop in middle for 6 hour drive to SPI. They grow their own vegetables so the veggie pizza was mind blowing and a 100% recommendation to meat lovers too. The staff and owners were very kind and hospitable. Bathrooms were clean and the indoor sitting area was clean and well conditioned. Definitely recommend for stops.
I am from San Antonio and needed to tend to some business in Alice. I decided to have lunch while I was in town so I googled “best restaurants in Alice” google did not disappoint this time! Texas Brick Oven has the very best brick oven pizza in all of Texas. Every thing is made from scratch and you can clearly taste the love the owner puts into all his dishes. I started with house salad which was fresh and crisp. No soggy salad here! They have an amazing pasta bar which was free with salad. Pastas were fresh and full of flavor! As an appetizer we ordered the spinach dip. The incredible homemade won ton chips gave the appetizer an unforgettable taste. Simply delicious! Now for the pizza, no room for improvement here! The sauce is homemade and that in itself makes it unique. The pizza is the very best I have ever tasted, hands down. I took home a tiramisu desert and enjoyed that with my coffee this morning. Also, home made and incredible.
Stopped by Texas Brick Oven during our road trip and were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and the food came out fresh and delicious. The pizza is made from scratch, so definitely be patient because it’s worth the wait. Plenty of options including vegetarian pizzas, which we appreciated. I believe they even grow their own herbs, and you can truly taste the freshness in the food. Quiet, cozy atmosphere and a really nice spot to sit down for a good meal while traveling through the area.
